Some footage revealed by Nottingham Forest has shown Dean Henderson enjoying a warm embrace with Liverpool star Jordan Henderson.
The Reds defeated Jurgen Klopp’s team 1-0 at the City Ground on Saturday, with Taiwo Awoniyi scoring the winner.
It was the form of Henderson in the Forest goal that really caught the eye, however.
He made several good saves, including one in injury time from Virgil van Dijk that was truly world-class.

Henderson has extra incentive to play well for Forest in the coming weeks.
MORE FOREST STORIES
Gareth Southgate will be finalising his England squad for the World Cup and the goalkeeper will hope to be on the plane.
Liverpool star Henderson is likely to be going to Qatar.
He’s integral in Southgate’s squad and although he might not be a regular starter, he will be vital for the group.
Forest landed Henderson on loan from Manchester United during the summer of 2022.
He was one of the club’s first signings after winning promotion to the Premier League and replaced the outgoing Brice Samba.
It’s been a tough campaign for everyone at Forest so far.
The Reds did at least offer their supporters some optimism with the win over Liverpool, however.
Henderson has showcased what he’s all about in every game so far and he looks a very useful addition.
Henderson spotted enjoying warm embrace with Liverpool captain
Forest posted some behind-the-scenes footage earlier this week from the Liverpool game.
On there it showcased Dean and Jordan Henderson walking out of the players’ entrance of the stadium in deep conversation.
It looked as though the £190,000-a-week Liverpool captain congratulated the Forest goalkeeper and the pair shook hands.

This shows that Henderson is clearly a player that Forest were right to sign.
He’s respected among some top players in the Premier League and clearly, he has a good rapport with the England squad.
Having someone like the 25-year-old on board will only help the Reds in their quest to avoid relegation.
The hope will be that Forest can avoid relegation and then speak with United over an extension for next season.
