Nottingham Forest are already preparing for the 2026/27 campaign with a new contract offered to Vitor Pereira.
The Portuguese head coach steadied the ship after a shambolic Sean Dyche tenure and led Forest to safety with two games to spare and to a Europa League semi-final.
What message would YOU send to Vitor Pereira ahead of next season? What’s he done well and what does he need to change?
Pereira embraced the difficulties that Forest had when he walked in and got a tune out of the likes of Morgan Gibbs-White, Elliot Anderson and Igor Jesus.
Now, with the dust settling on the campaign, news has emerged of another club wanting to snare Pereira from the clutches of Forest.

Al-Hilal want Vitor Pereira appointment
Some worrying news comes from Ben Jacobs this afternoon, with Al-Hilal preparing a contract offer for Forest boss Pereira.
It’s believed that the Saudi outfit are going to offer the manager a significant salary to jump ship from Forest and head back to the Middle East.
Pereira has experience in Saudi Arabia, having previously taken charge of Al-Ahli and Al-Shabab, but is thought to be preparing to take charge of Forest in the new season.
The Forest man is on the shortlist at Al-Hilal, with current boss Simone Inzaghi still potentially walking away from the club this summer.
Pereira oversaw 20 games in charge of Forest, winning eight and drawing six of them to finish the campaign with a 40% win ratio.
Forest must dig deep for Pereira
Working in the Premier League and remaining at Forest might trump another stint in Saudi Arabia, but the Reds do need to get this resolved.
It’s not ideal to have another manager’s future up in the air, and if the Reds want him as their head coach next season, they should fork out whatever salary he wants.
NOTTINGHAM FOREST ARE SAFE!!!! What advice would you now give to Evangelos Marinakis ahead of next season?
Pereira deserves to keep his job at Forest, and the fact that he’s being courted by other clubs – and ones in financially lucrative countries – is definitely a cause for concern.
Hopefully, this is a tactic from the head coach’s agent to get Forest to offer him a better deal, and things can be resolved very soon.
