Still nobody out and, therefore, nobody in and no new contracts. Steve Cotterill’s reputation as a wheeler-dealer is under threat… Seat Pitch rounds up the five, desperate, last rumours.

1. Lewis McGugan
Widely expected to leave during this transfer window, there’s still been no bids for the talented but inconsistent midfielder. However, West Ham are believed to be interested following his goal at the Boleyn Ground on Saturday, according to Sky Sports and the Daily Mail.

2. Wes Morgan
The Forest defender is out of contract at the end of the season and the club made the rather unexpected move of announcing Leicester City’s bid. However, a second bid was turned down, according to Sky Sports, and the Nottingham Evening Post reported the club are holding out for £1 million.

3. Andy Iro
Major League Soccer centre-back Andy Iro is believed to have had a trial, according to the Daily Star. The 6’5″ Toronto FC defender’s contract expired at the end of December.

4. Román Torres
There’s been no confirmation but it looks like the Panamanian defender’s trial was unsuccessful, according to Goal.com. Reading between the lines, third-party ownership might be an issue.

5. Jordan O’Neill
Finally, a 13-year-old is on trial at the City Ground. The former Largs Colts player, a centre-forward currently on a six week trial reports the Largs & Millport Weekly News. O’Neill has been playing for Partick Thistle and has also featured for Celtic and Rangers junior squads.
