Ahead of Saturday’s game at the Amex Stadium, Seat Pitch, in partnership with KickOff.co.uk, brings you an exclusive statistical preview of Brighton & Hove Albion v Nottingham Forest…

After defeating Burnley last weekend, Nottingham Forest will be hoping to pick up points over the festive period as they look to cement a place in the play-off spots in the New Year.

Simon Cox, the man who defies medicine, is keen to return after missing just three games but is unlikely to make the squad. Greg Halford returns after a calf problem while Jermaine Jenas and Sam Hutchinson remain sidelined.

Brighton have doubts over right-back Bruno, who has rib and calf injuries, and Inigo Calderon could deputise.

The bookies have Brighton as the favourites for this match at 2.0 with Ladbrokes. Forest are 4.33 with William Hill while the draw is 3.4 with Sporting Bet.

Brighton’s Craig Mackail-Smith is favourite to score first at 6 with Ladbrokes while Stephen Dobbie (uh-oh) is 7.5 with Bet365. Billy Sharp and Will Buckley are both at 8 with Bet365 and Ladbrokes respectively.

Goals, again, are to be expected with 1-1 at 7 with William Hill although the odds are in favour of Brighton at 8.5 with Ladbrokes for 1-0 and 2-1 with Sporting Bet. Forest are 11 for 1-0 with Bet365 and the same odds for 0-0 with Sky Bet.

The 2-2 draw, as predicted by We Are Brighton, is 17 with William Hill.
