Away fans at the City Ground will move to the upper section of the Bridgford Stand, as Nottingham Forest supporters ‘reclaim’ the lower section, if a consultation with the local authority is successful.
The club is looking to relocate away supporters in sections U1, U2 and half of V1 in the upper section of the Bridgford Stand and hopes to have clarity on the situation in the near future if the period of consultation proves successful.
Season tickets go on general sale on Wednesday, with current season ticket holders having first refusal on their current seat until 7 June, with availability in the lower section.
Chairman Fawaz Al Hasawi said: “During my recent invitation for fans to ask me any questions, I received hundreds of requests for the away fans to be moved from behind the goal, and for the Forest faithful to reclaim what is rightfully ours. I hope you all appreciate my intentions and, to those of you who will be required to move seats, I would like to thank you for your understanding and your continued support.”
Any home supporters who may be affected by these changes, and have already bought a season ticket in the upper section of the Bridgford Stand, will be able to relocate their ticket to an alternative area of the ground free of charge.
The official site has a Q&A for supporters who have bought a season ticket in the upper section or who wish to purchase a season ticket in the lower section.
