Nottingham Forest midfielder Guy Moussi has joined Millwall on an emergency loan deal until 2 January.

The Frenchman has only made four appearances this season and will replace Shaun Derry, who became player-manager of Notts County last week, at the London club.

The 28-year-old moved to the City Ground from Angers in 2008, and has made 139 appearances for the Reds, scoring three goals.

Millwall’s assistant manager Mick Harford said: “Shaun left us last week for Notts County and we wanted some competition in midfield. Guy is big, strong and athletic, and that’s exactly the type of player we’ve been looking for.”

Moussi will wear the number 17 shirt vacated by Derry and is ineligible to face Forest when they visit the Den on 3 December. The midfielder’s contract with the Reds expires next summer.

The loan window closes on 28 November.
