With the countdown to Christmas now well and truly on, Seat Pitch brings you a unique take on the customary advent calendar with a Nottingham Forest twist.

We have 25 doors to open, with familiar faces from the present and past waiting behind each one (sorry, no chocolate).

At the end of the year, we will then compile the ultimate Reds squad made up of those voted into each number. You can have your say by getting involved with our daily Twitter polls.

Let’s keep things rolling with door No. 15:

Few could have predicted that Cohen would become a Forest stalwart upon his arrival from Yeovil in 2007, but he would go on to spend 11 years within the Reds’ first-team set-up.

Blighted by injuries but a man who could always be relied upon when fit, a popular figure made over 300 appearances for the club and was named Player of the Year on two occasions.

Snapped up by the Reds as they desperately sought to fend off the threat of relegation in 1997, the Dutch striker would prove to be a divisive figure at the City Ground.

Starred during a promotion-winning campaign in 1997/98, netting 34 goals across all competitions, but rebelled against transfer business after helping to secure a Premier League standing and tarnished his reputation by going on strike and only returning to play a sporadic part in another relegation.

A no-nonsense defender was snapped up after initially impressing during a loan switch from Manchester City.

Was never afraid to get stuck in, which endeared him to the Forest faithful, but was never the most cultured option and slowly slipped down the pecking order before joining Mansfield.

Would you prefer to see somebody else fill the No. 15 spot – Carl Tiler, Greg Halford? Let us know your selection in the comment box below or reply to the Twitter poll – which can be found here.
