After going signing crazy on transfer deadline day in January 2018, this year’s offering hasn’t quite scaled such heights for Nottingham Forest.
The Reds have completed loan deals for midfielder Pele and striker Leo Bonatini who join from Monaco and Wolves respectively.
It is perhaps the signing of Brazilian Bonatini who catches the eye the most given that he was part of a team that romped to the league title last season.

The 24-year-old becomes the first player from Brazil to play for Forest and his signing was confirmed on the club’s official website.
Biggest STAR Your Club Are Trying To SIGN This Month
According to the Nottingham Post, there is an option to sign the player permanently during the summer.
Bonatini netted 12 goals last season but has struggled for game time since Wolves kicked off their maiden campaign back in the Premier League.
He will add competition to the Forest striking ranks that currently includes Lewis Grabban, Daryl Murphy and Karim Ansarifard.
Martin O’Neill spoke following the weekend win over Wigan of his desire to sign a striker and the club granted him his wish on deadline day.
He told the Nottingham Post: “We are hoping to try to do something with a striker – we are very much trying to do something, between now and Thursday.”
The general consensus among supporters is that this deal looks a good one for the Reds.
Seat Pitch rounded up the very best of the reaction from Twitter following the deal coming to fruition.
