Nottingham Forest host Brentford on Saturday looking to get back to winning ways in the Championship.

Boss Martin O’Neill has tasted defeat twice during his first three games and his team doesn’t have much more room for error if they are to crash the play-off places.

The Reds defeated Wigan Athletic in their last home game and they will need to show a similar resolve if they are to get past a Brentford team bang in form.

Ahead of the game, Seat Pitch looks at a potential line-up that can see Forest come out on top against the Bees.

GK – Costel Pantilimon

The Romanian stopper is firmly established as the club’s number one goalkeeper and that doesn’t look like changing under O’Neill’s management.

RB – Tendayi Darikwa

Darikwa has missed the last three games through suspension and his return will offer a boost for O’Neill.

Saidy Janko has deputised well in his absence, but it is fair to say that Darikwa is the better defender of the two.

CB – Alexander Milosevic

The Swede looked pretty comfortable on the ball during his debut against Birmingham City.

He looks as though he likes a tackle too and he will be hoping to adhere himself to the City Ground faithful quickly on Saturday.

CB – Molla Wague

The man signed on loan from Udinese wasn’t registered in time to make his debut last weekend.

With Michael Dawson, Tobias Figueiredo and Michael Hefele all out injured, he should be set for his maiden start against Brentford.

LB – Jack Robinson

The Forest squad isn’t blessed with lots of options at full-back and Robinson will surely start at left-back.

The man signed on a free in the summer has looked more comfortable at full-back than he has done in the middle.

DM – Claudio Yacob

A bit of a travesty that he hasn’t played a bit more under O’Neill.

The Argentinean captained the side against Bristol City but hasn’t started the last two games.

His presence in the middle of the park is the obvious replacement for the suspended Jack Colback.

RW – Matty Cash

Cash has looked in decent form of late and chipped in with a crucial goal in the win over Wigan.

Forest don’t have lots of wingers available so academy graduate Cash should be in line to start.

CM – Adlene Guedioura

Like Cash, Guedioura also scored against Wigan and he is likely to start in the Forest midfield.

Not been at his consistent best of late and Forest will hope he can find his form from earlier in the campaign this weekend.

CM – Joao Carvalho

The man that Forest fans have been crying out for.

Earned a 20-minute cameo at Birmingham and after carving out a few chances surely he will get the chance to start against Brentford.

LW – Joe Lolley

Forest’s matchwinner when he gets going will definitely keep his place in the team.

Lolley looked as though he was getting back up towards his best form against Wigan and if the fans get behind him he could prove decisive again.

ST – Leo Bonatini

Lewis Grabban is Forest’s top goalscorer but he might still be suffering with a small knock.

Bonatini made a decent looking debut at Birmingham and he will probably replace a jaded Daryl Murphy.
