Nottingham Forest travel to Rotherham United tomorrow afternoon looking to edge closer to the top-six.

Bristol City’s win over Middlesbrough on Tuesday night leaves the Reds with more ground to make up in the chase for a play-off place.

The Millers were thumped 6-1 at Derby County last week but are a different proposition on home soil.

Ahead of the contest, we look at which players will be selected to start by Martin O’Neill.

Costel Pantilimon made two brilliant saves against Swansea last week and is firmly established as the club’s number one stopper.

Molla Wague was the matchwinner last week and that could be enough to see him play alongside Yohan Benalouane again.

Jack Robinson should return at left-back. His natural instincts in that position make him a sounder option than the unnatural Ben Osborn.

Sam Byram is pushing hard for a return but Tendayi Darikwa is likely to keep his place, as Forest play a patient game with the on-loan West Ham man.

Both Ben Watson and Ryan Yates were withdrawn last week, providing the catalyst for Forest to go and win the game.

That could mean some changes from O’Neill this week.

Adlene Guedioura, Claudio Yacob and Joao Carvalho will all push for starts, although the latter’s inclusion will indicate a change of system.

Jack Colback is the only certainty in midfield. He must tread carefully as one more caution and he will miss three games.

Daryl Murphy stepped off the bench to restore parity last week and against a physical Rotherham side, you wouldn’t back against O’Neill starting him here.

Lewis Grabban has missed seven weeks through injury and looked rusty last week. Obviously, his goalscoring prowess is unrivaled within the Forest ranks, however.

Out wide, Joe Lolley is definite to start. On the other side, it looks like a straight shootout between Matty Cash and Ben Osborn.
