Nottingham Forest are showing a keen interest in signing Albert Adomah, according to a report from Bristol Live.
The Reds are set to battle Millwall and Bristol City for the 31-year-old who won promotion to the Premier League with Aston Villa last season.
A flying winger, Adomah was released by Dean Smith shortly after the Villans defeated Derby County in the Championship Play-Off Final.
The player with 19 international caps for Ghana can play on either flank and boasts ample experience in the second-tier.
During 372 Championship games, he has scored 61 goals and registered 62 assists.
Adomah wouldn’t command a transfer fee as he is a free agent and the report suggests that Forest have expressed verbal interest in the player.

Last season was a bit of a struggle for the London-born winger. In 26 starts he netted just four times and contributed three assists.
That said, he wouldn’t command a transfer fee, whilst he would solve a somewhat problem position for the Reds.
Matty Cash and Arvin Appiah would currently be the two players battling for the place on the right-wing. Cash, in particular, has struggled with consistency and some competition would be ideal.
There are no doubts about Adomah’s credentials at Championship level and he might be an ideal option to pursue on a free transfer.
The winger will have the bit between his teeth having won promotion recently and Martin O’Neill could certainly do a lot worse than the 31-year-old.
