Jason Cummings has dropped a hint that he is ready to revive his flailing career with a cryptic message on his Instagram.
The 23-year-old was sent out on loan to Peterborough United and Luton Town last season in an attempt to regain some confidence.
He actually netted eight goals for the Posh, but eight of them came before the end of August.
Concerns over his attitude saw him sent back to Forest in January and he subsequently joined the Hatters, helping them to the League One title.

He struggled for game time at Kenilworth Road, netting just one goal.
Under Mark Warburton’s management, Cummings played 17 times for the Reds, bagging four goals for the team.
With the Reds set to return to training next week, Cummings is seemingly raring to go, posting on Instagram:

The nature of the post perhaps suggests that a move is in the offing.
His chances of a first-team reprieve at the City Ground are seemingly unlikely and a move would be best for all parties.
Bringing the smile back is with reference to Cummings’ goal celebration where he places his hand over his mouth, showcasing a tattoo of Batman’s nemesis, Joker, and his smile.

Cummings arrived at the City Ground for £1 million (Sky Sports) but has failed to scale the heights which he did in Scotland.
He has looked abject at best and looked way short of the required Championship pace when called upon.
This cryptic message might have some supporters worried that he will get the chance to shine at the City Ground again.
That would be a crazy idea, considering how many players Forest need to offload and it remains to be seen what is next for the striker.
