Nottingham Forest will head into the 2019/20 campaign looking to improve on the ninth-place finish achieved under Martin O’Neill last season.
The Reds finished with three wins on the spin but it’s fair to say the performances prior to those wins were simply not good enough.
A big challenge lies in store for O’Neill and he will have learned some big lessons from certain games last season.

The Championship is a tough league and the Reds boss has worked in football long enough to understand what the second tier of English football is all about.
Forest will head to Greece and Spain for pre-season training camps. Illustrious games with Olympiacos and Real Sociedad are on the agenda too.
The Reds kick off their pre-season campaign this Saturday with an away trip to Alfreton, who housed Forest’s Under-23s for some of last season.

It has been revealed today what Forest will be playing in next season.
Still sponsored by Macron, the Reds took to their official Twitter account to announce what the new home shirt will look like for next season:
Modelled by Michael Dawson, Lewis Grabban and Yohan Benalouane the arrival of a new shirt is a sign that the season is edging ever closer.
As always when a new strip is revealed, the Forest supporters have taken to Twitter to have their say on the unveiling:
