Nottingham Forest announced on their official website this morning that Albert Adomah has penned a two-year contract at the City Ground.
The move comes following Aston Villa’s promotion the Premier League with the 31-year-old released following their play-off final success over Derby County.
A proven Championship performer, the ex-Ghana international has now won promotion twice to the Premier League, the other occasion with Middlesbrough.
The right-winger looks like a solid addition to the Forest ranks, particularly on a free transfer and he took part in his first training session with Sabri Lamouchi’s squad earlier today.
Adomah has played 372 games in the second tier of English football scoring 61 goals and registering 62 assists.
The tricky winger follows Sammy Ameobi, Tiago Silva, Alfa Semedo, Yuri Ribeiro and Arijanet Muric in signing for the Reds.
Following his arrival on Trentside, the Forest fans have been making themselves heard on social media.
The vast majority believe him to be a decent addition to the squad, particularly on a free transfer.
Here is a selection of what Forest fans were saying after the announcement of Adomah as the latest player to be added to Lamouchi’s squad.
He genuinely looks happy to be here COME ONNNNN!!!
