Coventry City are set to increase their efforts to land Nottingham Forest striker Tyler Walker, according to Nottinghamshire Live.
The Sky Blues could be in the market for a striker, with Conor Chaplin increasingly linked with a move away from the club.
Walker has been handed the chance to impress Forest boss Sabri Lamouchi during pre-season.
He has been part of the squad on pre-season trips to Spain and Greece; featuring in games against Atromitos and Olympiacos recently.

Whether he will get a chance beyond the start of the Championship campaign remains to be seen, however.
Coventry were originally interested in taking Walker on a season-long loan from Forest. Funds from Chaplin’s pending departure, however, could tempt them into bidding for a permanent transfer.
The lively frontman was in scintillating form on loan at Mansfield Town last season. He smashed 26 goals, helping the Stags into the League Two play-offs where they lost to Newport County.
The Seat Pitch Summary
If Forest are even considering offloading Walker then a replacement must be identified.

The 22-year-old is vying with Lewis Grabban for a place in the team and the Reds can ill-afford to lose another striker.
Daryl Murphy has been deemed surplus by the boss and Forest’s striking options aren’t exactly vast.
A move to Coventry could be a good one for Walker – but maybe not just yet.
The jury remains out on his ability to score frequently in the Championship, although last season’s form suggests he deserves a chance to impress.

Once the season starts, Walker will get a good idea of whether or not he is going to feature in and around the matchday squad.
If he isn’t then a departure away from the City Ground once again looks inevitable for the academy graduate.
