Nottingham Forest boss Sabri Lamouchi has handed out an olive branch to Adlene Guedioura.
The French boss has hinted to Nottinghamshire Live that the midfielder will return to his squad despite being linked with a move away from the City Ground.
Guedioura was part of the Algeria team that stunned Senegal on Friday to lift the African Cup of Nations.
The 33-year-old was named in the Team of the Tournament afterwards, but La Buteur has linked him with a move to FC Kuwait.

It was reported by The Guardian that Guedioura had fallen out with former boss Martin O’Neill.
Lamouchi, however, is expecting the ex-Crystal Palace man back at the club.
He told Nottinghamshire Live: “Congratulations to Adlene. We are waiting for him to return.
“He is going to be part of our plans, of course. All good players want the same thing. I am sure all the people in Nottingham will welcome him back.

“We are happy to work with these kinds of people.”
Guedioura arrived back at the City Ground in January 2018 and has scored twice in 25 appearances.
The Seat Pitch Summary
This news may come as a shock to some supporters.
Guedioura at 33 is beyond his best years and with a squad full to the brim it was thought he may be offloaded.
That doesn’t appear to be the case, however.

Lamouchi clearly wants to take a look at Guedioura and after his international exploits, who can fault him.
The midfielder could still depart but it looks as though the boss wants to at least take a look at him first.
With the prospects of Jack Colback coming back looking remote and Ben Osborn’s future up in the air, Guedioura might just be worth keeping around.
