Nottingham Forest are looking to bolster their attacking options ahead of the start of the 2019/20 Championship campaign.
Nottingham Forest are reportedly ‘interested’ in Wolverhampton Wanderers striker, Rafa Mir, according to Wolvesbite.
The website, which is run by experienced journalist Tim Nash, reports that Birmingham City are also interested in the striker. It seems that any potential deal for the striker would be on loan, with Nuno Espírito Santo seemingly not willing to lose the striker permanently.

Wolves strengthened their attack by making Raul Jiménez’s move permanent before the end of the season for £30 million. Jiménez’s performances last season could see Mir’s opportunities limited this forthcoming campaign if he was to stay.
And Nottingham Forest’s need for a new striker has only increased in recent weeks. As it stands, Lewis Grabban and Tyler Walker are the only strikers set to be involved next season. Even then, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see the latter still leave the City Ground on loan.

Options
Sabri Lamouchi is fully aware that he needs more options in that department for next season. Both Daryl Murphy and Jason Cummings are still on the club’s books but have been deemed surplus to requirements.
But how much the Reds would be willing to spend on a striker remains to be seen, not to mention who might actually be available.
Mir, who spent last season on loan at Las Palmas in Spain, could be a good option on a loan deal. The 22-year-old only scored seven times last season, but could be worth a gamble.

He certainly has the potential to be a success in this country. He scored five times in 10 appearances for Spain Under-21s and was part of the squad which won this summer’s European Championships.
