Nottingham Forest are reportedly close to signing Mali international Samba Sow, according to The Sun as quoted by Nottinghamshire Live.
The 30-year-old is currently playing for Dynamo Moscow but he is set to depart having failed to settle in Russia.
He has been with Moscow since 2017 and after a good first season with the club, he put pen-to-paper on a fresh contract.

Last season he made 17 appearances and will arrive at Forest match fit as the Russian top-flight has already kicked off their 2019/20 campaign.
Sow is primarily a defensive midfielder and he has also spent time in France with Lens and in Turkey with Kardemir and Kayserispor.

Sow would become Forest’s eighth summer signing. Rafa Mir checked in yesterday from Wolves and the club looks set to continue adding players between now and the window slamming shut.
The Seat Pitch Summary
Signing Sow could go one of two ways.
He could be a revelation and take to English football like a duck to water. The 30-year-old could be a complete flop, however, and people will question why on earth he was ever signed.
Even the most ardent of football supporters on Trentside will be hard pushed to claim they have seen Sow play.

He won’t break the bank, however, and that must be viewed as a positive step.
Forest had looked a little light in defensive midfield and Sow will compete with Ben Watson, Alfa Semedo and Claudio Yacob for a place in the team.
