Nottingham Forest are reportedly on the verge of loaning Tyler Walker to League One side Lincoln City for the upcoming season.
A number of Nottingham Forest fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from the Nottingham Post which have claimed that the Reds are close to agreeing a deal with Lincoln City for the loan of Tyler Walker.

Walker’s future has been a talking point for much of the summer. Both Hillal Soudani and Karim Ansarifard have already left the club, whilst Jason Cummings and Daryl Murphy could be next through the exit door.
Sabri Lamouchi did bolster his attacking options earlier this week by signing Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Rafa Mir on a season-long loan. However, the only other recognised strikers he has in his squad are Lewis Grabban and Walker.
The Nottingham Post reports that the 22-year-old striker is ‘close’ to signing for the Imps on a season-long loan, amid strong interest from Coventry City. And the Reds now plan to look for another striker during the final days of the transfer window.

The news has received a mixed reaction on Twitter. The large majority of Forest supporters appear to be concerned by the decision to let Walker go, mainly due to the lack of striking options available to Lamouchi.
Walker has endured a mixed stint during his time at the City Ground. This time last summer, plenty of fans would’ve been happy to see him leave the club on a permanent basis. However, the fact he scored 22 goals in 44 appearances for Mansfield Town in League Two last season, suggests that he is still improving.
In fact, the only problem that the supporters seem to have is with the lack of speculation so far about another striker coming in. However, Sabri Lamouchi has already spoken about his desire to strengthen in that area. It would be a surprise if the Reds didn’t pursue other attacking options over the next week.

Here is what some of the fans made of the reports suggesting Walker is on the way out…
