Nottingham Forest thrashed Derby County 3-0 at the City Ground last night to progress into round three of the Carabao Cup.
The win came despite boss Sabri Lamouchi opting to make eight changes to his starting eleven from the team that won 2-1 at Fulham on Saturday.
One of those switches saw on-loan Wolves striker Rafa Mir get the chance to start a game for just the second time.

He started in the previous round when Fleetwood Town were defeated 1-0 thanks to a Tiago Silva goal.
Last night, the Spanish youngster assisted the first goal for Albert Adomah, flicking a Joe Lolley corner into the path of the ex-Ghana international.
As Mir waits for his first goal in the red of Forest, he couldn’t help but send a message to the club’s supporters that the goals will come.
After the game he took to Twitter to post a picture of himself with his team-mates lauding the Brian Clough Trophy aloft following the emphatic win:
Of course, Mir did have it pointed out to him by some supporters that Forest’s next game is on Saturday and not Friday; the message regarding goals remains clear, however.
It seems likely that Lewis Grabban will return on Saturday, with Mir having played the full 90 minutes last night.
Seat Pitch Summary
The 22-year-old was only ever signed by Forest to act as cover for first-choice striker Lewis Grabban.

The ex-Bournemouth talisman is firmly established in the Forest team and more importantly he is scoring goals.
Mir was alright against Derby and in thrashing fierce rivals it isn’t really a moment to go desperately finding a negative.
As with last season’s target man, Daryl Murphy, Mir relies heavily on service being provided to him.

Crosses into the box are what the uncompromising Mir needs and if Grabban does ever miss out through injury, Forest must ensure they provide adequate service into the box.
His attitude via this tweet will go down a treat though. He is clearly desperate to notch his first goal for the club and hopefully, he will break his duck in the next few weeks.
