Nottingham Forest fans react on Twitter to Arsenal away ticket prices

Unai Emery’s Arsenal side will host Sabri Lamouchi’s Reds at the Emirates Stadium on 24 September. 

A number of Nottingham Forest fans have taken to Twitter to share their delight about the price of tickets for the Carabao Cup game against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium (Official Site).

Sabri Lamouchi’s Reds will travel to North London and lock horns with the Gunners at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday 24 September, a 7.45pm kick-off which isn’t being broadcast on television.

The Reds published details on their official website, confirming that they have received an initial allocation of 5,100 reserved seats located in the lower tier of the East and South Stands.

For adults, away tickets will cost just £10 – a price which many Trickies faithful on social media were delighted to hear:

This will be the first time that the Reds have faced Arsenal away since August 1998, and will be their first appearance at the Emirates Stadium. However, this will be the second meeting between the two sides in as many years.

The Reds got the better of Arsène Wenger’s side in the third round of the FA Cup in January 2018. A brace from Eric Lichaj, as well as goals from Ben Brereton and Kieran Dowell ensured Gary Brazil’s side secured a dramatic 4-2 victory at the City Ground.

The Gunners haven’t beaten the Reds since September 2016 when they won 4-0 at the City Ground in the League Cup. They’ll be hoping that they can secure a similar result this time round.
