Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Arijanet Muric was in goal for Kosovo last night as England secured a 5-3 victory in the Euro 2020 qualifiers.

The youngster is on loan from Manchester City and last night’s game at Southampton’s home stadium, St Mary’s, proved eventful to say the least.

After seeing his side take a lead inside the first minute he then endured a horrid 44 minutes which saw England score five times past him.

The second half saw him perform slightly better. His team-mates pulled two goals back, whilst Muric stopped Harry Kane netting his 15th penalty on the spin by brilliantly saving his spot-kick.

It has been a strange start to the campaign for Muric. He arrived on loan from the Citizens looking to earn his first taste of regular first-team football.

He started the first games of the season but has now seemingly lost his place in the team to Brice Samba who signed from Caen in the summer.

For now, he is the second fiddle and following last night’s performance against England, Forest fans have had their say on the youngster:
