Nottingham Forest boss Sabri Lamouchi has told Nottinghamshire Live that he doesn’t expect to be without Alfa Semedo and John Bostock for too long.
The midfield duo missed the Carabao Cup trip to Arsenal on Tuesday night and the boss was quizzed about the midfielders after the game.
Bostock and Semedo were excellent in the second-round win against Derby and would have surely been in contention to play at the Emirates Stadium.
Lamouchi wouldn’t be drawn on whether or not the duo will return for Friday’s clash with Stoke City.

He told Nottinghamshire Live: “I hope they are not too serious. I was surprised to have these two injured. We will check how they are today.
“Of course we don’t have a lot of choice, but as I have always said, we don’t have problems – we will find solutions.”
Forest were thrashed 5-0 in the capital in a steep learning curve for the young side put out by the Reds boss.
After the game, Bostock tweeted a message to the Forest supporters who had hoped to see him in action:
Disappointed to have missed tonight’s game. All eyes on the league now! Congrats to @AlexMighten10 & Gabriel on making their debuts. 8000 Forest fans 👏 #nffc

Seat Pitch Summary – Forest will hope duo return soon
Although Bostock hasn’t started a Championship game for Forest yet, there is still optimism that he can force his way into the team this season.
Semedo has been in and out of the side but he too looks like a player who can cause problems on his day.

Forest aren’t blessed with lots of midfield options and Lamouchi correctly hopes they will back sooner rather than later.
Successful teams need to have sizeable squads and Forest do boast that. A few injuries could change all that though and these two mustn’t return until their injuries are completely healed.
