Nottingham Forest didn’t do themselves justice last night as they succumbed to a 5-0 drubbing at the hands of Arsenal at Emirates Stadium.
Goals from Gabriel Martinelli (2), Rob Holding, Joe Willock and Reiss Nelson secured a comfortable win for Unai Emery’s team.
Boss Sabri Lamouchi clearly had one eye on Friday’s game with Stoke City, opting to ring the changes for the trip to North London.

Some players did keep their places and one of those provided the only real bright spark of the night for Forest.
Yuri Ribeiro arrived at the City Ground from Benfica during the summer, penning a permanent deal with the Reds.
Having played second fiddle to Jack Robinson for the first month of the campaign, he was rewarded for his patience with a start against Swansea after the international break.
He has played a big part in Forest securing back-to-back wins for the first time this season and now looks a big part of the back four.

Last night saw Lamouchi deploy Ribeiro as a left-winger and he didn’t disappoint. Whilst players around him folded like cheap deckchairs, the Portuguese youngster stood up to be counted despite a difficult night at the office.
After the game he took to Twiter to thank the travelling army of supporters who made the trip south:
His performance didn’t go unnoticed with the Forest faithful either.
Here is a selection of tweets from supporters regarding the positive performance of the Reds player:
