Nottingham Forest earned a frustrating share of the spoils from a trip to Blackburn Rovers last night with plenty to work on ahead of Saturday’s home game with Brentford.

The result ended the Reds’ three-game winning streak; although it is now nine games unbeaten for Sabri Lamouchi’s team.

Forest are a different animal this season and last night could have been problematic for them in previous campaigns.

The new manager has instilled new-found confidence and a never say die attitude in his squad and that will delight the club’s supporters.

Last night reiterated that point.

Forest have scored in every league game they have played this season and they weren’t behind for long against Blackburn.

A video on the club’s official Twitter account has today highlighted that just 40 seconds stood between Adam Armstrong’s opening goal and Joe Lolley’s stunning equalising goal.

Not a single home player touched the ball from Forest kicking off to Lolley rippling the net with his unstoppable effort.

Although the performance was largely frustrating for the Reds, that is perhaps a sign of how far Forest have come in such a short space of time under Lamouchi.

Last night the Reds struggled to keep hold of the ball for large parts. The latest video from the club’s media team highlights that Forest should back themselves to keep hold of the ball.

In possession, the Reds are good footballing side and more play like this throughout the course of the campaign will surely see Forest rewarded with more goals.

Lolley has now scored four goals in all competitions this season and on a personal note, he will hope there is more to come.
