Nottingham Forest midfielder Alfa Semedo has missed the club’s last three games after picking up an injury prior to the Carabao Cup tie against Arsenal.
He sat out of the game at the Emirates Stadium and has also missed trips to Stoke and Blackburn in the Championship.

The 22-year-old is on loan from Benfica and has made a solid start to life in English football. He has featured in eight Championship games, scoring a crucial winning goal in the game at Swansea last month.
It is unclear at this stage whether Semedo is in contention to return against Brentford this weekend, but he has taken to Instagram to post a message to the club’s supporters:
Semedo implies that he is coming back stronger, although much to the frustration of some Forest fans he doesn’t mention when!
The youngster’s quality has been evident, although that isn’t really a surprise. A report back in July from Nottinghamshire Live claims that Semedo is worth £25 million in the eyes of Benfica.

It seems highly unlikely that Forest will be paying those sorts of figures unless of course promotion is obtained at the end of the season.

His pedigree is there for all to see, however, and it comes as little surprise that he has played 16 times for the Benfica first-team already.
Although Forest do have a plethora of options in the midfield, not too many possess the strength and physical prowess of Semedo and he will be welcomed back into the first-team picture when he is fit.
