Joe Worrall produced another impressive performance for Nottingham Forest as they beat Brentford on Saturday.

Nottingham Forest fans on Twitter have praised Joe Worrall for his performance during their 1-0 win against Brentford on Saturday and also spotted the player’s passionate celebration after the full-time whistle.

It seemed as though Brentford were going to seriously threaten Forest’s unbeaten run, but shortly after half-time, Ben Watson was on hand to put the Reds ahead and secure the three points.

The Bees almost took the lead at the end of the first-half. Brice Samba ensured it remained goalless, as he scrambled to adjust his footing to ensure that a deflected Mathias Jensen free-kick didn’t find the back of the net.

In the end, Sabri Lamouchi’s side walked away with all three points and maintained their record of avoiding defeat in the Championship since the opening day of the season against West Bromwich Albion.

There’s no doubt that the mood around the City Ground is extremely positive. Worrall has been one of the standout performers so far this season, and he certainly didn’t hold back with his celebrations at full-time.

As a boyhood fan of the club, his celebrations haven’t gone unnoticed by supporters, who feel that he could be a future captain of the club. He has been virtually ever-present under the management of Sabri Lamouchi.

The 22-year-old has recently been linked with a move to Newcastle United. However, Forest will be very confident of keeping one of their star assets with around two years still left on his contract.
