Nottingham Forest have started the 2019/20 campaign in style, going 10 games unbeaten since the opening day and currently sitting in second place in the Championship.
Boss Sabri Lamouchi has adapted to English football with aplomb. On current form, he looks like being the manager that can end the trigger happy culture and lay some serious foundations on Trentside.
The French manager has been dealt with something of a predicament at right-back, however. Injuries to Tendayi Darikwa and Carl Jenkinson have seen the boss deploy Matty Cash as a makeshift defender.

An image doing the rounds on Instagram indicates that the academy graduate might have to deputise for a little while longer.
Jenkinson, 27, was at a night to celebrate ex-Arsenal great Arsene Wenger and his contribution to football but it was a photo on the social media platform that will cause the most intrigue with Forest fans.
The £2 million (Daily Mail) ace was pictured still wearing a protective boot on his left foot; despite the injury collected in the Preston North End game originally said to be minor:
Although he is expected to be out until after the next international break, it would have been anticipated that he was further along the road to recovery now.
Setback
Jenkinson has already missed six games and with another five games to come before the next round of international fixtures, it will represent a sizeable period of time out for the former Gunner.

Cash has done an admirable job at right-back in the absence of a more natural performer. An injury to the 22-year-old would leave Lamouchi with a serious dilemma, however.
One thing Forest do have this season is lots of competition for places in their squad; everywhere, except right-back that is.
Jenkinson might not walk straight back into the team. Having him fit and available, however, would certainly bolster Lamouchi’s options at a key period during the campaign.
