The Nottingham Forest midfielder picked up an injury against Brentford at the City Ground before the international break.
The Nottingham Forest midfielder, Samba Sow, has shared a positive update on his recovery from injury.
Sow suffered the problem in the latter stages of the game, and was taken off with just over 10 minutes left to play as he was replaced by Albert Adomah. It was the only negative on another positive day for the Reds.

Sabri Lamouchi revealed after the game that the midfielder suffered a hamstring strain towards the end of the game. The two-week international break has certainly come at a good time for the midfielder.
There was an immediate concern among some of the club’s supporters that the midfielder may have suffered a serious knee injury. But the 30-year-old appeared to be in good shape in his most recent Instagram post, which was uploaded on Saturday.

He added a caption to the video which read: “You only fail when you stop trying.”

Sow had to bide his time when he first arrived at the club. Sabri Lamouchi initially favoured the likes of Alfa Semedo and Tiago Silva in midfield. However, as soon as he got himself into the starting line-up, he hasn’t looked back since.
There’s no doubt that he has been one of the standout performers so far this season. He is the sort of player that the Reds have been missing for a number of years.

It’s still unlikely that he’ll be back in time to face Wigan Athletic next weekend. However, Lamouchi will be hoping that he’s back available for selection as soon as possible.
