Nottingham Forest have enjoyed a promising start to the Championship season, as they return from the international break sat second in the league table.
The Reds still haven’t lost a league game since the opening day of the season against West Bromwich Albion.
In truth, the Reds look set to become genuine contenders for promotion to the Premier League this season.

Two players that have played a key role in Forest’s good start to the season have been Joe Worrall and Matty Cash. Having both come through the club’s academy, they are certainly very popular with supporters.
Not only this, but they have both shown that they have improved considerably this season. They are both more than good enough to be up their with the best in the division.

Lamouchi’s side are currently enjoying a two-week break from competitive action over the international break. The squad took part in a media content day towards the end of last week.

Quick
As part of this, Worrall and Cash were asked by the club’s official media team to answer some questions about their current teammates.
When questioned about who would win in a 100 metre race, the duo struggled to come up with a straight answer.
“I think Rafa (Mir) would be quick,” Cash told the club’s official media team.
“No! Obviously he’s injured at the moment but Tendayi Darikwa,” Worrall responded.
“(He’s) quick.”

It’s fair to say that the Reds haven’t suffered too much in Darikwa’s absence. That is mainly due to the form that Cash has shown since he’s been asked to fill in at right-back.
Cash will be hoping that he can further cement his place in the starting line-up in the next few weeks.
In the meantime though, he’ll be focussing on Forest’s upcoming trip to struggling Wigan Athletic next weekend.
