Nottingham Forest striker Lewis Grabban has been in fine form again this season under the management of Sabri Lamouchi.

The 31-year-old has made 11 appearances in the Championship so far this season, and has already contributed with five goals. He’ll be hopeful of breaking the 20-goal mark this time round.

Forest are a different proposition this season and Grabban now has a lot of creative players around him who can create chances for him to put away.

Lamouchi clearly rates Grabban very highly, shown by the fact he has started every league game so far. That being said, Rafa Mir is the only other recognised striker in the squad to choose from anyway.

Grabban is clearly full of confidence and will be hopeful of adding to his tally this weekend.

Forest have scored in every league game they have played this season, and Grabban has been a key reason behind that statistic.

Sharp

A video on the club’s official Twitter account has showcased just how sharp the 31-year-old is looking this season ahead of the weekend’s trip to the DW Stadium to face Wigan Athletic.

Even Brice Samba, who has been in impeccable form for the Reds, wasn’t able to keep that particular effort out. His reaction to the strike finding the back of the net was of somewhat disbelief.

Although the Reds have made a good start, some people are still concerned that the Reds aren’t creating enough chances. The likes of Grabban have already proved they only need a sniff of goal to find the back of the net.

The large travelling away support will be hoping he continues to have that goalscoring touch at the DW Stadium on Sunday.

Having scored 17 goals in all competitions last season, Grabban will be hoping he can better that tally this season. He’s certainly made a good start towards doing just that.
