The Reds have made a promising start to the season and will be full of belief that they can finally bring top flight football back to the City Ground by securing promotion to the Premier League.
A number of Nottingham Forest fans have taken to Twitter to comment on the announcement that their Championship game with Millwall at the New Den has been selected for live television screening by Sky Sports.
As confirmed by the club’s official website, the game between Sabri Lamouchi’s in-form Reds and the side which recently lost their manager in the form of Neil Harris will now be played on Friday 6 December, 7.45pm kick-off.
The news has not gone down particularly well with much of the Nottingham Forest fanbase, especially given the games which the Reds have already had moved for television this season. The Reds have already featured on Sky Sports numerous times this season, with Sunday’s game against Wigan Athletic also on the box.
Here is some of the reaction on social media from the Nottingham Forest faithful:
Wow that’s the 6th game moved cause of sky. Nice to see football is about the fans 🙄

With Lamouchi at the helm, optimism amongst the Nottingham Forest fanbase hasn’t been higher. The club’s supporters are starting to believe something special might be on the horizon after years of mediocrity in the Championship.
The Reds continue their promotion push this Sunday with a trip to the DW Stadium to take on Wigan. The Reds may have to get used to rearranged fixtures for television if they are able to secure promotion.
