Jarrod Bowen could be on his way to the Premier League with a number of sides interested in securing his signature.
According to the Daily Express, Southampton and Newcastle United are interested in signing the winger in January. The 22-year-old has been a revelation for Hull City and is currently valued at £20 million.
Tonight though, Bowen will be fully focussed on helping his side return to winning ways against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground.
The Reds haven’t been defeated at the City Ground since the opening day of the season against West Bromwich Albion. Having lost their last two matches in the Championship, conceding six goals in the process, it won’t be an easy game for the Tigers.
However, Bowen feels that all teams in the league are unpredictable and fancies his side’s chances of picking up a positive result.
‘Everyone is hard’
He told HullLive: “I don’t think you can say you have got an easy game or a hard game because everyone is hard that you come up against.
“You can’t predict who is going to be good on the day and who is going to be bad so we are just going to treat it like any normal game.
“We are not going to worry too much about it, we are just going to take our game plan again and try and execute it better than we did (against QPR).”
There’s no doubt that the 22-year-old winger will be one of the main threats that the Reds have to deal with tonight.
Sabri Lamouchi will have done his homework on the Tigers and Bowen will undoubtedly be one player he has picked out as one to watch. It’s easy to see why that would be the case.
After an impressive campaign last time out, Bowen has already found the back of the net six times in 13 appearances in all competitions this season. He has established himself as one of the most dangerous wingers in the division.
If Forest can keep him quiet, then you’d fancy them to pick up all three points tonight.
