Nottingham Forest were defeated 2-1 by Hull City at the City Ground last night to condemn the Reds to a second successive defeat.
Goals from Josh Magennis and Jarrod Bowen were enough for the Tigers who caused an upset in the rain on Trentside.
Boss Sabri Lamouchi won’t have been satisfied with a below-par performance and he will hope to see his team bounce back against Reading on Saturday.
Matty Cash did pull a goal back for Forest and although it proved in vain he was one of the team’s brightest players on an otherwise disappointing evening.

WAYNE ROONEY TO EVERTON IS A JOKE.
The 22-year-old has been asked to play in an unfamiliar right-back position this season and has surprisingly excelled. It had originally been anticipated that his attacking prowess would hamper him playing among the back four but that hasn’t been the case.
Following last night’s game, Cash tweeted a passionate message to the club’s disappointed supporters:
Not the result we wanted! Time to put things right on Saturday, So much to play for so let’s stay positive together! Unreal support, thanks everyone ❤️💪🏼 #NFFC

The academy graduate has quickly become one of the club’s top-performing stars and he is very much a mainstay in the team right now.
Forest fans are certainly keen on his talents and they took the time to respond to his message.
Here is a selection of tweets congratulating Cash on another solid showing:
Best player in red tonight by far

You’re playing really well Cashy.
Keep believing, keep driving the team on, and the rewards will come.
