Nottingham Forest suffered back-to-back defeats for the first time this season against Wigan Athletic and Hull City and will hope to get back to winning ways tomorrow afternoon when Reading arrive at the City Ground.

Boss Sabri Lamouchi may be tempted to make a number of changes tomorrow after another disappointing performance against the Tigers on Wednesday.

The Reds have suffered two defeats in the matter of a few days, but with Lamouchi’s men still sat just four points off top, there’s no need to panic just yet.

Returning to the City Ground against Reading on Saturday offers Forest a great chance to put things right. If they’re able to secure three points, the outlook would certainly look very positive again.

WAYNE ROONEY TO EVERTON IS A JOKE.

One man who recognises the importance of putting things right is right-back Matty Cash. He has taken to Instagram to speak of his determination to get back to winning ways against Reading:

The 22-year-old has established himself as one of the first names on Lamouchi’s teamsheet in recent weeks. Since Carl Jenkinson was ruled out through injury, he’s really claimed the right-back spot as his own.

Determined

He formed a good partnership with Joe Lolley down the right-hand side early on in the season, although Lolley’s form has dipped of late. Cash was one of Forest’s main attacking threats on Wednesday night.

Cash is by no means the finished article at right-back but he is certainly much-improved in that position this season. He struggled to cope with Kamil Grosicki in the first-half which proves he still has a lot to learn defensively.

Not many people felt that he’d be capable of playing right-back before the season got underway. However, he’s proved that he’s more than capable of being moulded into a solid right-back over the course of the season.

He’ll be hoping he can help the Reds keep a clean sheet against the Royals tomorrow.
