Nottingham Forest were denied the opportunity to bounce back from back-to-back defeats as their game against Reading at the weekend was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
One positive from a rather disappointing week for the Reds was the return of Ryan Yates on Wednesday against Hull City.

The 21-year-old midfielder has praised the club’s supporters for the support they showed him when he was introduced against the Tigers at the City Ground.
The former Notts County and Scunthorpe United loanee believes that the reception he was given made his lengthy recovery period worth it.
Sabri Lamouchi’s side weren’t able to get the result they wanted against Grant McCann’s side side. They suffered back-to-back defeats in the Championship for the first time this season as the Tigers secured a 2-1 win.
Yates replaced João Carvalho with around an hour played, and impressed during his short spell on the pitch.

There’s no doubt that Yates was one of Forest’s best performers in the second-half of last season under the management of Martin O’Neill. Unfortunately for him, he wasn’t given the opportunity to impress Lamouchi in pre-season due to injury.
‘It felt good’
And Yates has now claimed that the reception he received from the home fans made all the hard work which has gone on behind the scenes worth it.
He told the club’s official site: “It felt good to get that reception from the fans for my comeback.
“Just in general, when they are behind the lads and to get that reception is brilliant.

“But to have them give me a big cheer like that when I came on makes you feel great and it makes all of the hard work worth it.”
The Reds are next in action when they travel to Kenilworth Road to face Luton Town this weekend.
Yates will be hoping he did enough against the Tigers to earn a place in Lamouchi’s starting line-up.
