Alex Milosevic today ended his eight-month spell at Nottingham Forest after the club came to a mutual agreement with the defender to see him depart the football club.
The 27-year-old signed on a free transfer back in February and played 12 games for the Reds scoring one goal for the club back in April.
He has struggled to force his way into the reckoning under Sabri Lamouchi, however, and he has failed to make a single squad in the league this season.

With Michael Dawson currently on the treatment table, it perhaps comes as a surprise that Milosevic hasn’t been kept at the City Ground for a little while longer.
Joe Worrall, Chema Rodriguez and Tobias Figueiredo are all above him in the pecking order but another injury or suspension with Dawson out could see Forest in a spot of bother.
Following his departure, Milosevic has quickly taken to Twitter to thank the club’s supporters for their backing during his time on Trentside, although his tweet does seem to suggest a cheap shot at the club:
Milosevic will now seek a new challenge away from Forest and you wouldn’t bank on him showing up somewhere else in the Championship.
His tweet in the immediate aftermath of his departure might read a little bit sour but having fallen way out of favour, it is to be expected somewhat.
Reaction
Forest supporters will watch with intrigue to see where Milosevic ends up and it does appear that he did enjoy his time playing for the supporters.
The Sweden international will leave as a popular figure though and some supporters have reacted to his farewell tweet:
