Nottingham Forest won 2-1 against Luton Town to return to winning ways in the Championship at Kenilworth Road.
The Reds secured all three points thanks to goals from Lewis Grabban and Sammy Ameobi and in truth it should’ve been more comfortable for the away side. Callum McManaman did pull a goal back late on for the hosts.

Boss Sabri Lamouchi made three changes from the team that lost to Hull City over a week ago and it’s fair to say that they all made the desired impact.
One man who was able to retain his place in the starting line-up was Lewis Grabban. The 31-year-old produced arguably one of his best performances of the season at Kenilworth Road.

Grabban rewarded Forest’s first-half superiority when he took on Tiago Silva’s through ball before showing great strength and composure to find the back of the net. This came shortly after he missed a great chance to open the scoring.
The supporters certainly enjoyed his performance. Many took to Twitter following the game to speak of their delight at seeing Grabban take his goalscoring tally to six for the season.

Here is a selection of tweets from Forest supporters in response to Grabban’s performance against the Hatters yesterday:
