Nottingham Forest beat Luton Town 2-1 as the Reds returned to winning ways at Kenilworth Road at the weekend.
Goals from Lewis Grabban and Sammy Ameobi were enough to secure the three points for the Reds. Callum McManaman was able to pull a goal back for the hosts late on.
Sabri Lamouchi chose to make three changes for the trip to Bedfordshire and it proved a masterstroke, with Forest looking to be back to their best.
It could’ve been even more comfortable for the Reds. They had two strong appeals for a penalty turned down, and missed several other good chances. They made life difficult for themselves by conceding near the end.
Following a productive afternoon and a fourth away win of the season for the Reds, some players took to Twitter to speak of their delight.
Right-back Matty Cash produced another impressive performance at Kenilworth Road. The 22-year-old completed the game having made a record number of tackles (11) in any single Championship contest this season.
Great win at a tough place to go! Away fans 👏🏼 Enjoy ur weekend reds ❤️👏🏼 #nffc

Joe Lolley, Yuri Ribeiro and Joe Worrall also featured in Lamouchi’s starting line-up against the Hatters.
There’s no doubt that Lolley has been harshly criticised by some supporters for his performances this season. He showed signs that he is getting back to his best at the weekend.
All three players shared their delight at getting back to winning ways on Twitter.

The Reds are back in action this weekend as they face bitter rivals Derby County in the latest instalment of the East Midlands Derby.
Given their win at the weekend, Forest would dearly like to back that up with another three points heading into the international break.
