Nottingham Forest currently sit in fifth place in the league table and one of their standout performers during 2019/20 has been Matty Cash.

The 22-year-old has rediscovered himself at right-back with Tendayi Darikwa and Carl Jenkinson both currently out injured.

Cash is typically a winger by trade but this season he has been unbelievably good operating as a right-back under Sabri Lamouchi.

Despite his tender years, Cash has already played over 100 games for the Reds having risen through the club’s academy ranks.

Following his impressive form, some statistics have emerged from the last couple of games which he has played in.

Against Luton, he made 11 tackles – a record number for any single Championship game this season, collecting the Man of the Match award in the process.

Following such impressive figures, Forest supporters have been taking to Twitter to buzz over the form of their in-form defender.
