Nottingham Forest defeated Derby County for the second time this season yesterday, with the Reds running out 1-0 victors over their East Midlands rivals.
Sabri Lamouchi oversaw yet another victory over the Rams, cementing their place inside the top-six of the Championship in the process.
The match was settled thanks to Lewis Grabban who pounced on a stray pass from Jayden Bogle to fire an unstoppable effort hard and low beyond goalkeeper Kelle Roos.

It was the performance of Tiago Silva which really caught the eye, however. The Portuguese maestro picked the perfect game in which to showcase his undoubted talent as he put Derby to the sword with a string of eyecatching touches.
The 26-year-old signed for the Reds from Feirense during the summer and has taken a little while to get to grips with the demands of the Championship.
Yesterday he mesmerised the opposition with a display that earned him the Man of the Match accolade from the matchday sponsors.

On this showing, Silva has to be a regular in Lamouchi’s team. There has been a debate of whether he should be playing ahead of Joao Carvalho but yesterday showcased exactly why he is getting the nod right now.
Here is a selection of tweets from Forest supporters regarding the midfielder’s performance:
Remember when people used to hammer Tiago Silva? Absolute Rolls Royce #nffc

Tiago Silva was a magician today. Ran the show. Worrall & Figs solid as a rock. Cash & Ribeiro exceptional in attack and at the back. Lolley & Ameobi looked threatening all game. Yates & Watson bossed the midfield & that man Grabban scores goals. As for Brice nothing but ❤ #nffc
