A particular goal from a memorable game with West Ham is doing the rounds on social media, allowing some Forest fans to stroll along memory lane.
Stuart Pearce was the man known for his free-kicks during the 1988/89 campaign but during a 3-3 draw with the Hammers at Upton Park, Nigel Clough stepped into the set-piece limelight.
He stepped up and stroked an unstoppable effort beyond the outstretched palm of Alan Knight in the Hammers goal.
Clough scored twice during the game, with Steve Hodge netting Forest’s other goal.
Former Reds assistant boss David Kelly scored twice for the hosts, with Leroy Rosenior netted a stunning diving header to earn West Ham a point.
