Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Arijanet Muric was powerless to prevent England running riot in Kosovo yesterday evening, with Gareth Southgate’s men running out 4-0 victors.

The 21-year-old stopper collected his eighth cap for Kosovo but his night was ruined by a rampant England side who rang the changes following their qualification for Euro 2020 on Thursday evening.

Muric couldn’t do a lot to keep out the goals he conceded and was largely steady throughout.

RONALDO NEEDS TO STOP WHINING.

Forest landed the stopper on loan from Manchester City during the summer. Pep Guardiola opted to loan the youngster out and Muric played the first four league games of the 2019/20 campaign.

Since then, Muric has lost his place in Sabri Lamouchi’s team to the impressive Brice Samba. The Congolese stopper has made the position between the posts his own and the City man is now the second choice.

There is little doubt that Muric is one for the future but his moments of brilliance are typically followed by elements of inexperience which are still evident in his game.
