Matty Cash has been in exceptional form for Nottingham Forest this season.
Some Nottingham Forest fans believe that right-back Matty Cash is the Player of the Season so far at the City Ground. This is some compliment given the number of other potential candidates.

The 22-year-old has been in magnificent form for Sabri Lamouchi’s side this season, as the Reds go in search of a third consecutive victory in the Championship against Bristol City this weekend.
Having now made over 100 appearances for the Reds, Cash is one of the first names on Lamouchi’s team sheet despite not being a recognised right-back. With Carl Jenkinson currently out injured, he’s really made the position his own.
It wouldn’t be a surprise if Jenkinson struggles to get himself back into the starting line-up on his return from injury.

According to The Sun, Everton are one of three Premier League clubs keeping track of the youngster. The Toffees are apparently planning a £12 million raid on the Reds during the January transfer window, with Crystal Palace and Southampton also interested.
Again, this just goes to show how impressive Cash has been so far this season.
Impressive
It’s highly unlikely that the Reds will want to do business on the right-back. He’s a key part of Lamouchi’s plans and selling him wouldn’t help their objective of securing promotion.

However, there’s no doubt that he’ll continue to attract interest if he maintains his current level of performances.
When asked by the club’s official media team who their Player of the Season so far was, a large number of supporters responded in favour of the 22-year-old:
