Nottingham Forest are set to return to Championship action this weekend as they face Bristol City at Ashton Gate.
The Reds have made a promising start to the season and are currently sat in the play-off places. They’ll be confident of returning to the East Midlands with three points.
One player who won’t be involved at Ashton Gate is midfielder Samba Sow.

Sabri Lamouchi has revealed that tomorrow’s game has come too soon for the 30-year-old.
Speaking to the Nottingham Post, the Frenchman said: “I think the next week he will be part of the sessions with us, so he is very close.
“He is close to being back with the first-team.”

Boost
The midfielder hasn’t featured in the last four games having being taken off with a hamstring injury against Brentford in October.
It’s fair to say that there was a lot of concern amongst supporters about how the midfielder’s absence could impact on results.
The fact that the Reds lost the next two games against Wigan Athletic and Hull City didn’t help those concerns. Lamouchi’s men looked like they really missed Sow’s presence.
After that, the Reds bounced back with wins against Luton Town and Derby County.

The return of Ryan Yates to the first-team has certainly helped. The 21-year-old has expertly filled the void left by Sow’s absence. Similarly to Sow, he helped keep things ticking over in midfield.
The former Dynamo Moscow midfielder might struggle to get back into the team on his return, given how much Yates has impressed. Yates has proven that he has what it takes to play a key role this season.
In conclusion, Sow’s return is a huge boost ahead of a flurry of fixtures.
