Nottingham Forest stayed fifth in the Championship with a 0-0 draw against Bristol City.

The Reds played the last 34 minutes with 10-men following Ryan Yates’ dismissal for serious foul play.

Forest must view the result as a point gained and will head to Queens Park Rangers in confident spirits after this stalemate.

Didn’t have a save to make all afternoon and claimed every single aerial ball he committed himself to.

Matty Cash – 8

Looking more consistent with each passing game, Cash once again had a quality afternoon.

Joe Worrall – 8

Rock-solid once more. Looks like a completely different defender following his year at Rangers.

Tobias Figueiredo – 8

Never lost a header and produced several moments of quality as he kept Bristol City at bay.

Jack Robinson – 7

A steady return to the side for the former Liverpool man. Barely put a foot wrong as he replaced Yuri Ribeiro in the team.

Ben Watson – 7

An assured performance from the captain who broke up play on several occasions.

Ryan Yates – 4

Let his team-mates and the supporters down badly with his horrible challenge.

Joe Lolley – 7

Another quiet day for the ex-Huddersfield Town performer. He was man-marked throughout and didn’t see much of the ball.

Tiago Silva – 8

Dictated the pace of the game once more. A few stylish passes and a degree of flair got Forest on the counter-attack.

Sammy Ameobi – 7

Ran his socks off again, displaying superb energy. Was eventually substituted.

Lewis Grabban – 7

Another 90 minutes of pure graft from the Forest talisman. Had a great chance to win the contest but narrowly shot wide.
