Nottingham Forest will meet Huddersfield Town at the John Smith’s Stadium in the Championship on 21 December.
Nottingham Forest have announced that the 2,400 allocation for their pre-Christmas encounter has now completely sold out.

“The Reds travel to the John Smith’s Stadium on Saturday 21st December (kick-off 3pm) and all 2,400 available tickets have now been taken by Forest supporters,” as quoted by the club’s official website.
Sabri Lamouchi’s men will be taking on the Terriers in a few weeks time. However, the Reds have five other games to contend with before then. The intense run of fixtures begins with the trip to Queens Park Rangers on Wednesday.

It’s fair to say that the Reds have been superb on the road this season. They have only lost once away from home so far this season. This came at the DW Stadium in October as they lost 1-0 to Wigan Athletic.
Given Huddersfield’s current league position, the Reds will be expected to return from Yorkshire with all three points. The large travelling support will certainly be hoping that Lamouchi’s men can deliver them an early Christmas present.
That being said, the Terriers are a different proposition under the management of Danny and Nicky Cowley. The former Lincoln City management duo have overseen an upturn in form which has taken them out of the relegation zone.

There’s no doubt that every side wants to get a positive result just before Christmas.
Nottingham Forest posted information about the Huddersfield Town sell-out on their website and on their social media channels:

Here is how some of the City Ground faithful reacted on Twitter to the update:
Genuinely give up trying to get to an away game don’t stand a chance

Yep we need to start asking for bigger allocations especially at Grounds that home fans can’t fill lol

Why have the tickets gone on sale so early for this? How am I meant to pay for Bristol, QPR, Millwall and then have this on top? So I end up missing out on localish game because I’m going to the capital twice for midweek fixtures

We getting a further allocation?
