Nottingham Forest issued a firm promotion statement to the rest of the division on Wednesday when they beat QPR 4-0.
Playing against 10-men for most of the second-half made life a lot easier, but four different scorers highlighted real quality at Sabri Lamouchi’s disposal.
The head coach will have plenty to ponder when he selects his team for this weekend’s game against Cardiff City.

Wednesday’s subs made an impact, whilst other players are edging closer to full fitness.
Nottingham Forest News looked at a potential line-up which Lamouchi could select this week:
Goalkeeper and back four
Brice Samba had treatment on the field at QPR but he should be fine to continue in goal for the Reds.
The back four should stay the same. Matty Cash, Tobias Figueiredo, Joe Worrall and Jack Robinson have all played the last two games and led Forest to a couple of clean sheets.

Michael Dawson has returned to the bench for the last two games but will probably have to remain there this weekend.
In midfield
Alfa Semedo came off the bench and scored in midweek. That could earn him a place in the starting eleven, allowing Tiago Silva to edge further forward.
The man-mountain of a midfielder could be forced to settle for a place on the bench once more, however.

The only certainty is Ben Watson’s inclusion in the side. Forest’s captain has been remarkable this season and was once again impressive against QPR.
In attack
Albert Adomah looked rusty at QPR as he earned a rare start following two months of playing a peripheral part.
Joao Carvalho entered the fray on the left-hand side in midweek and that is an option for Lamouchi.

The Portuguese performer scored a brilliant goal and looked more like his usual self during his cameo appearance.
His inclusion may see Joe Lolley revert to a wide position after operating as a number 10 at QPR.
Sammy Ameobi will probably start again after two assists in midweek.
Here is how Lamouchi’s team might line-up this weekend:
