Nottingham Forest trio Brice Samba, Matty Cash and Tobias Figueiredo have been named in Who Scored’s Championship Team of the Week.
The Reds continued their promising start to the season as they hammered 10-man Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road on Wednesday.

The way Sabri Lamouchi’s side killed the game off in the latter stages grabbed the headlines. However, it was another impressive performance defensively which was key to securing the three points.
Samba, Cash and Figueiredo have all been given recognition from Who Scored for their performances. Figueiredo received the highest rating of 8.5, whilst Samba and Cash picked up a 7.9 and 7.7 rating respectively.
There’s no doubt that the Reds have been superb defensively this season. They have only conceded 13 goals in the Championship so far. Only Leeds United have a better defensive record.
Samba had to pull off a number of important saves at Loftus Road whilst QPR were still in the game.
There were some concerns at full-time that the goalkeeper may have picked up a shoulder injury. However, Lamouchi quickly revealed that it wasn’t anything to worry about.
It’s fair to say that Cash has become a regular in Who Scored’s Team of the Week this season. The 22-year-old produced another accomplished performance at right-back.

Solid
Not only was he solid defensively, but he continuously offered the Reds another option going forward.
Figueiredo rounded off the City Ground representation in the Team of the Week. He has been impressive since being drafted into the starting line-up for the injured Michael Dawson.
Not many people believed that the 25-year-old would be able to keep Dawson out of the side. However, that’s exactly what he’s doing at present.

He was even able to score his first goal for the Reds against QPR. He’ll be hoping he can contribute with a few more this season.
