Nottingham Forest boss Sabri Lamouchi says he’ll find the “right time” to discuss his contract situation with the club.
The 48-year-old only signed a one-year deal (Nottingham Post) at the City Ground when he replaced Martin O’Neill in June.

But following the start that the Reds have made to the season, the Frenchman has already been linked with more than one Premier League outfit.
L’Equipe had claimed that Lamouchi was wanted by Watford for the managerial vacancy at Vicarage Road. This report came after claims that Wolverhampton Wanderers will make him their ‘top target’ if they ever lose Nuno Espírito Santo.
“I am happy with the people at the club, with the boss, with the CEO,” Lamouchi told the Nottingham Post when questioned about whether the club have been in conversation with him about a new deal.
“We will find the right time to discuss that. But is the right time now?

“We don’t know where we will be after one month, after two months. We want the same things – the best for Forest.”
Lamouchi has been key to Forest’s ascent this season, guiding the Reds to fourth place in the Championship. There’s no doubt that the Reds are now being considered as genuine contenders for at least the play-offs.
The Reds are currently sat eight points behind second-place Leeds United. They have won nine of their 18 games in the Championship so far. That’s a better start than many people had anticipated.

They’ll be looking to bounce back from their recent defeat against Cardiff City when they travel to the New Den to take on Millwall on Friday.
